Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Brunch Health, LLC handles health-related information that may be regulated by state consumer health data laws and may fall outside HIPAA.
Information covered
Depending on your use of Brunch, covered information may include information about health conditions, symptoms, medications, allergies, treatment interests, treatment status, prescriptions, side effects, health goals, interactions with healthcare professionals, and related health inferences.
Sources and purposes
We may receive this information directly from you and from authorized healthcare, pharmacy, platform, and service partners. We use it to provide requested services, facilitate independent clinical care, coordinate pharmacy fulfillment, provide support, administer billing and accounts, maintain safety and security, comply with law, and perform quality assurance.
Disclosure
We may disclose covered information to the independent medical provider; assigned pharmacies; Bask and authorized technology or support providers; appropriate payment, security, legal, and compliance providers; and government authorities when legally required or permitted.
Brunch does not provide medical intake responses, diagnoses, prescriptions, allergies, side effects, or provider communications to advertising platforms for targeted advertising. Brunch does not sell consumer health data for money.
Your rights
Depending on applicable state law, you may have rights to confirm processing, access information, obtain information about sources and recipients, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request deletion, and appeal certain decisions. Reasonable identity verification may be required. Requests and appeals may be submitted to support@brunchhealth.com and will be handled within applicable legal timeframes.
Security and retention
Brunch uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here and as required or permitted by law, including contractual, regulatory, fraud-prevention, dispute, and recordkeeping requirements.
